What's the point of learning about our Nation's Government in high school? It's so pointless and stupid. Why should we have to know this bull shit? It's nothing but a bunch of old laws and papers and dead men.
I hear this daily. And everytime I hear it, my insides turn just a bit. It's not the most exciting subject ever, yes. But it is something we, as American citizens, have a right to know about. And we should know it. I do believe we should study it. And thoroughly.
Maybe this is because I wish that one day I'll be working for the government. Yes, that is right. I, Landry, wish to work for the United States Government. In the education department. (For the ones going, "Huhhh?" I want to be a teacher.) I do believe it is my right to know about how the government works, especially if I'll be working for it one day.
It's probably one of my best subjects. Up there with Home Ec. and English. Know what all these classes have in common? The teachers love me. ^_^ lol A little suck up moment for the night.
That's my random thought of the day. Sorry that you're dissapointed, I haven't been in a very write-y kind of mood lately.
